The most popular Egyptian food

You can't visit Egypt without trying its food because it is part of the culture and that makes you live the experience .

There are various kinds of food in Egypt but i will suggest to you the most popular among Egyptians ;

1_ Koshri : koshri is one of the most popular dishes in Egypt and you will like it especially if you are vegetarian .

_koshri consists of many kinds of macaroni , rice ,Brown lentils ,chickpeas , onion and tomatoes sauce .

2_makrona bshamil :  It is kind of pasta but it has Egyptian recipe and the thing makes it especial is the "bashamil"

3_ Molokhia: It is soup made from an Egyptian planet and it is historical dish .

4_Stuffed pigeons :It is very popular Egyptian food .

5_tamea or green burger : It consists of vegetables and beans ,It is breakfast dish and historical dish .
_Many countries have this dish but it is different and the dish is Egyptian in origin .

1_Konafa :konafa is Egyptian dessert dish in origin and it dates back to the fatmid period in Egypt and many countries have this dish nowadays but it is different .

1_cane juice : It is consider the main drink in summer for locals and in general you will find many shops for fresh juices in the streets so you can try any of them .

2_The Turkish coffee : Egypt has been under the ottoman empire for a while in the modern history and one of the impacts they left was the coffee but nowadays it is a little  different from that exist in Turkey but it is very tasty.
