The restaurants and transportation
I will talk here about the restaurants and the transportation ;
Firstly , the transportation : Cairo is large city and has much people live in so maybe sometimes you will see it crowded so i recommend you these transportation means :
_If you want to save time of course the subway is the best solution

but unfortunately it is not exist beside the airport so if you are coming from the there then i recommend "uber" which is the second and last recommendation so make sure that you installed its app before you land in Cairo because you will need it.
_ Try to depend on uber or the subway and don't use taxi however you can try the buses if you want to feel the vibe of the locals but don't depend on it because you might stuck in the traffic .

The restaurants : Cairo is full of restaurants and coffeeshops so it won't be an issue for you but i will recommend you some of them.
1_If you want to try local food then here are some of the best restaurants
The most famous local food in Egypt is "koshri" and if you want to try it you can eat it in "sayyid hanfi"restaurant or "koshri el tahrir " restaurant and both are in the downtown , these restaurants are the best in my opinion .

The rest of the local food you can find it in "sobhi kaber restaurant " or " el prince restaurant "

If you want brands restaurant like Macdonald'S or something else you can find easily anywhere and downtown.
